Booking a Reservation

We will confirm availability and reserve your reservation as well as send you a confirmation email. We may reach out to get to know more about you, your guests, and the purpose of your visit. Once we confirm our cabin is perfect for your stay, we will arrange for payment. We will send you our welcome guide which includes tips for our cabin and things to do nearby. We will assign you your unique door code to enter the cabin using our Yale lock.  It will be active from check-in to check-out. Please reach out to us if you have any questions. 

House Rules

  • Check-In: After 4:00pm
  • Checkout: 11:00am
  • Self-check-in with keypad
  • No pets
  • No parties or events
  • Smoking is allowed responsibly outside

Health and Safety

  • Committed to enhanced cleaning process
  • Security camera/recording device “We have a security camera in our driveway that operates on motion detection. We leave this on. We also have a security camera on the deck overlooking the view. This also operates on motion detection. We will disable the deck camera by request during your stay.”
  • Nearby lake, river, other body of water — “You can access a river within a mile or two of the house.”
  • Heights without rails or protection — “Our deck has a railing, but it is not built to current safety code. Inside our home, we have an open staircase down to the lower level. Children must be accompanied by adults.”
  • May encounter potentially dangerous animal
  • Carbon monoxide alarm
  • Smoke alarm

You must also acknowledge

  • Must climb stairs — You will be required to walk up and down a flight of stairs to access the home as well as leave the home. You will also have to use stairs to access the 3 different levels on the property.
  • Security Deposit – $500 refundable deposit required

Additional rules

  • Responsible smoking is allowed outside. If there is any evidence of smoking it will come out of the deposit. This includes butts left outside or around the premises. Please make sure to throw away responsibly. Please be cautious as we do not want to start any fires.
  • You will find a binder in the kitchen with some housekeeping items before check-out. Enjoy your stay!
  • Please let us know if anything is broken or not functioning property during your stay. It is important to us to get that fixed immediately so other guests do not also experience the same issue. Thanks in advance!

During your stay

  • As our guests, we have included a landline at the cabin. The landline is for the case of an emergency since you will not get much cell service, if any, at our cabin. They did just put in a new AT&T tower in our area for those with AT&T. If you ever need anything at all, please feel free to contact me and I’d be happy to chat. We provide contact information so we can personally accommodate you during your stay. We also try to respond within an hour, for any guest inquiring on a stay.
