About this space
This is a premier location with stunning views. It is worth the experience if you get the chance! Nestled amongst the beautiful pines of the Stanislaus National Forest, our cozy cabin is the perfect getaway to relax and reset. It’s our “yacht in the woods”, where we take you away from the city life and bring you peace and adventure. Watch movies, play games, and gaze at the stars. Pinecrest Lake and Dodge Ridge Ski Resort are less than 5 miles away, along with many hikes and adventures.
The space
Centrally located, the cabin is well maintained and cared for. It is nearly 2000 square feet of space and is a great place for the entire family!
The deck wraps around the house, making it feel like you’re on a yacht in the middle of the forest. The views are simply breathtaking.
Utilize the BBQ grill on our upper deck. We provide propane.
Upstairs we have a living room/dining room with a pull-out queen sofa bed, full kitchen, 2 bedrooms (1 king bed w/ twin bunk bed, 1 queen bed), and a full bathroom.
Downstairs we have a queen bedroom, full bathroom, and an additional entertainment room. We also have a full bed pull out sofa. The kids will love to hang out on the lower level. We also have doors that lead to our backyard, which is the Stanislaus National Forest.
We provide the following:
– shampoo, body wash, conditioner, hand soap, and dish soap.
– clean towels, bed sheets, pillows, and toilet paper that will last 2-3 days
– laundry room is available and may be used as well (bring detergent)
– coffee filters, sugar/substitutes for 1-3 days depending on your coffee drinking style. Please bring anything specific that you may prefer.
We have a security camera at our front entrance and on our deck overlooking the view. We disable deck camera for your privacy during your stay.
Tips:
*Everyone has a different pillow preference. We have several pillows in the house, but we recommend bringing your favorite pillow for maximum comfort.
**Please note: Our internet speeds can slow down during busy times or extreme weather conditions. We have always supplied a ton of DVDs for this reason. Alternatively, disconnecting from the outside world can actually be quite a relief! Relax and unwind like the good ol’ days.
Guest access
We have a keypad to front door (main entrance), which is what you will use to come and go during your stay. We will send you your unique code and, once you check out, your code will no longer be active.
Other things to note
Maximum occupancy: 10 guests (please reach out to host with any questions)
AT&T cell phones work well in our area as they added a tower. Verizon works at the top of our hill. We have WIFI that keeps you connected.
At this time, we do not have cable at our cabin, but there are two TV’s and a variety of DVDs to choose from.
Additionally, we do not allow pets on the property but have had personal pets there before for those that need to know this in case of allergy concerns.
